Michelle can utilize any combination of the following therapies to create an integrated, healing touch massage unique to your needs. Swedish Massage- Light to medium touch, long flowing strokes, and kneading of tight muscles to increase circulation of blood and oxygen to nourish and cleanse the body. Deep Tissue Massage- Deep pressure techniques used to break up areas of tension and congestion in the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. Connective Tissue Massage- Techniques to free up restrictions in the superficial layers of connective tissue that surround the muscles and joints. Neuromuscular Techniques- Pain producing patterns to the nervous system and the brain are interrupted and replaced with new learned patterns of relaxation and well being. Can include Neuromuscular Reeducation, Trigger point therapy, and Orthobionomy. Cranial Sacral Therapy- Light-subtle touch to the bones of the cranium and the sacrum to effect the circulation of the cerebrospinal fluid that bathes the brain and the spinal cord.
